For instance the cards are divided into very broad categories like "arms" but nowhere on the card does it specify which muscles in the arm the exercise uses. I like the cards, they are big and easy to read and have tips on them. If you have an old Total Gym like I do a model then the the exercise card numbers will not match the exercises you are use to.
They have changed the titles of some as well. The card deck holder is designed for the newer models which is a bummer, so there isnt anywhere to attach it to your older model; but it can be adapted for the wall. I drilled two holes in the back of the holder and anchored mine to the wall I made slip holes, one big for the screw to fit into and then another smaller hole right above it so the screw could slide up and hold securely to the wall.
It works well. As far as using the deck to work out, it slows you down a bit to shuffle the cards around and I would have preferred a flip deck so that I could quickly access the next card.
Some people may not mind this and it's only my personal preference. Punching holes in your deck and making your own flip deck would be easy enough. Buying the deck with out the holder is an option. Prior to buying this deck I had photo-copied and laminated the exercises provided in the gym manual and made a flip chart that I was able to velcro to the top of my That being said, the cards are great, the holder is not so great.
I wish I hadn't bought the holder. I also bought the wall chart with this and while the wall chart doesnt have all the exercises, it does have the main ones I use and it is easy to read. Great product! I replaced the original flip chart on my Total Gym Force and I'm so happy. Then just use a 14" zip tie looped through the holes of the new training deck holder and wrap under the old holder and you're done. The total gym still works great but the new systems and website have been updated with new numbers etc.

The only thing I do not like is that the holder does not fit my model of the Total Gym. Wish they made a universal fit or offered a way to retro fit to your particular model. Picked up a Total Gym Elite at a garage sale. Some parts were missing so I'm steadily replacing the missing parts.
